Leadership 360° was designed by The Baptist Health Care Leadership Institute as a powerful professional development tool for hospital leaders. This internet-based survey and coaching program provides senior and mid-level management with confidential performance feedback from direct reports, peers and boss. The self-assessment allows leaders to compare their self-perception to those around them. In addition to confidential individual reports, an organizational summary report featuring benchmark comparisons is also provided. And coaches are ready on the back end to lead participants through their survey results and help them turn the 360-degree feedback into practical, daily applications. To encourage full participation, we also provide you with a Leadership 360° implementation CD that explains how to communicate the program throughout your organization.

Approximately six months after completion of the 360, we will conduct a mini-survey of leaders. This mini-survey process is a powerful tool to assess a leader’s developmental progress in the perception of key stakeholders. The mini-survey differs from the original 360 in that only a few developmental items are sampled and a different scale is used, assessing the leaders’ change in effectiveness versus competence. The mini-survey also assesses the degree of communication and follow-up around the leader’s development. When leaders follow our suggested process, the mini-survey has shown that 95% of them are rated as more effective by their key stakeholders.

Because every healthcare system has different needs, we offer Leadership 360° in multiple packages with tiered coaching programs. Our menu of services allows you to select the coaching package that will best complement the development needs of your hospital leaders. Pricing varies with each package and is based on the number of participants surveyed.

Four packages are available:

  • Leadership 360° – includes the individual participant survey reports and a general wrap-up session for all participants with a Leadership Institute consultant to explain results
  • Leadership 360° Plus – includes a personal one-on-one telephone coaching session with each participant in addition to the survey report
  • Leadership 360° Advantage – includes six months of telephone sessions with a professional development coach to create an individualized plan for each participant (most appropriate for mid-level managers)
  • Leadership 360° Executive – includes six-months of intensive coaching with a seasoned, executive professional development coach to take each participant to heightened levels of performance (most appropriate for senior-level staff)
