Beverly A. Begovich RN, BSN, MBA
Beverly Begovich is Baptist Leadership Groups Consultant Leader and brings more than 30 years of clinical, operational, and managerial experience to our team. Over the last 15 years, Beverlys primary focus has been directly facilitating organizational change in health care. Prior to joining Baptist Leadership Group, she excelled for a nationally recognized healthcare consulting business whose core principles were first tested at the nationally acclaimed, Baldrige Award Winning Baptist Hospital, Inc. in Pensacola, Florida. Her experience and training have enabled her to become an expert in implementing accountability systems, providing executive coaching, and driving successful strategic goal-oriented organizational outcomes within a multitude of health care facilities that range from large academic centers to small rural facilities.
As a Six Sigma Master Black Belt and WorkOut coach for both clinical and operational improvement within health care systems, Beverly has repeatedly helped her customers achieve, and more importantly, sustain positive results. An example of this can be easily recognized from the outcomes of one of her recent projects which decreased mortality in Critical Care and saved the organization 1.5 million dollars. Both health care organizations and our consulting team benefit greatly from her leadership, knowledge, and guidance.
Beverly is an RN with an International MBA from the Katz Graduate School of Business at the University of Pittsburgh, PA whose clinical background includes medical surgical nursing, as well as recovery room and critical care. She has experience in many facets of health care and her skills were recognized early when she became the youngest Nurse Manager at a South Hills Hospital in Pittsburgh. Additionally she started a successful HMO and directed the training of the professional RN staff at a pre-certification company. Her career path includes positions in staff development, director, supervisor, Nurse Manager, Vice President, JCAHO consultant, and Master Six Sigma Black Belt. She was among the first class of GE Medical Systems Master Black Belt Certification in Healthcare.
Beverly has a life-long passion to improve health care by making it safer for patients. Beverlys experience coupled with her enthusiasm in driving change, gives her the breadth of knowledge of what it takes to change organizational behavior. Having worked all the way up the ladder in healthcare gives her both the appreciation and compassion of having ''walked a mile in their shoes.'' |
