Cyd Cadena is Vice President of Clinical Services for Baptist Hospital and a consultant with Baptist Leadership Group. She brings 30 years of clinical and healthcare educational experience to the team. In her consulting role, she provides organizational assessments for hospital clients across the country and helps them identify cultural strengths and weaknesses. In doing so, Cyd develops strategies, tactics, action items and goals for improved service excellence that apply throughout the organization, from top-level leadership to front-line employees. Her experience as a nursing officer allows her to bring real-world, proven solutions to the table and her state certification as a risk manager adds another layer of expertise in quality improvement. She is also a certified “businessThink” trainer.

 

In addition to her role in Clinical Services, Cyd has been a leader at Baptist Health Care for over 25 years in multiple areas, including Quality Improvement, Women's Services, Medical/Surgical, Critical Care, Emergency Services and Air Ambulance-LifeFlight Services. She currently serves as Director of Operations for Baptist Medical Park and was previously the chief nursing officer with two Baptist Health Care affiliate hospitals, Jay and Atmore Community Hospitals, where she was integral in bringing cultural and service excellence to these two organizations.
