Bette Harriman
Bette Harriman serves as the Director of Baptist Health Care's Neuroscience Service Lines, a consultant and coach with Baptist Leadership Group, Bette has worked with client hospitals across the US and Canada to improve their service delivery and operational protocols. She was integral in transforming Baptist Hospital from a local, struggling organization in 1995 to an industry leader and best practice organization, and brings that day-to-day knowledge to bear for her clients. A charismatic speaker for large and small audiences, Bette is known for her quick wit and the heres-how-it-really-is stories woven throughout her frequent presentations. Bettes insights into organizational collaboration, service excellence standards of performance and meaningful measurement have assisted her clients in successfully achieving advanced stages of cultural excellence. Bette is also a certified businessThink trainer and travels extensively to work with her clients in person.
Bette was the director of membership services for Baptist Health Care and served as team leader of Baptist Hospitals first patient satisfaction Measurement Team in 1995. In that role, she was directly responsible for selecting team members, initiating the measurement process and providing guidance to other team leaders. During Bettes three-year tenure, the Measurement Team developed and implemented monthly and weekly patient satisfaction reporting tools, as well as an inter-departmental satisfaction survey. Bette is also a three year member of the Baptist Hospital Standards Team and was named a Baptist Health Care Legend for her volunteer work with the Make-A-Wish Foundation in 1998. She has been with Baptist for 13 years and also served as resource analyst for physicians and director of senior services.
A registered Radiologic Technologist with a masters degree in educational leadership from the University of West Florida, Bettes well-rounded approach to organizational change helps her clients create energy and enthusiasm for continued success. |
